Day 19 - Can you bounce with me?

Ryan took the exercise ball out to stretch with and at first glance I think Lilly was genuinely scared of it.  It's almost as tall as she is!  But after careful consideration and realizing it was a big bouncy ball of fun she immediately claimed it as her own.  She pushed it across the living room floor all day.  And when she wasn't pushing it she was using it as a bouncing machine.  When she jumped up and down next to it holding on, it bounced right along with her.  It was adorable!

Day 18 - Just another Manic Monday

And it rained...  I swear Lilly and I hung out in our jammies almost the entire week while it poured outside.  We had a big case of cabin fever!  So, I bought wraps :)  We have a Didy aqua waves, a Gira Toucan, and an Oh snap on the way!  Yay for rainy days!

Day 16 - Saturday Mornings

We let Daddy sleep in this morning.  Lilly played on the kitchen floor while I made breakfast and coffee.    We pretty much vegged in our cave this weekend, watched New Orleans beat Arizona, YAY!  It would be nice to see them go all the way to the super-bowl!

Ryan got a lot of R&R.  He's on the mend!  On the Lilly-pad front she is so close to walking it wouldn't surprise me if she took her first steps in the next couple weeks!  She can already stand by herself unassisted, well, until she realizes she is doing it.  Then she gets all wobbly and grabs to whatever is closest.  Usually me!  She's growing up too fast.  She is going to be just like her Mama, in a big hurry to grow up.

Day 14 - Love my husband

This week was hard for Lilly and I, but even harder on Ryan.  Not only did he have a stressed out family, his back went out on Tuesday and he can't even bend over!  He slept on the floor two nights in a row trying to straighten out his back.  Poor sunshine!  I'm so glad it's the weekend and he can rest :)

It's friday night and the Lilly-pad is trying to cheer Daddy up.  Things are looking up on the teething/no eating/no nursing/no sleeping front.  Lilly slept through the night last night for the first time in weeks.  She had breakfast, lunch, dinner and nursed like the chunk-a-munk she is today.  Woo Hoo!   Hopefully this a new trend and we are in for smooth sailing and blue skies.... Bahahahaha.  Let's not get ahead of ourselves :)

Day 13 - Better late then never!

I'm behind on photos this week.  Lillyana was still teething, looks like she's pushing her top two out together.  She pretty much quit eating and nursing for the last 3 days, except at night!  Lucky me :)

Day 12 - Fathers be good to your daughters

Lillyana and Daddy playing on the floor with her glowworm.

A rare Lillyana moment, laying still and starring into space.  This is a tired baby!

I'll probably double up on pics until I am caught up.  We spend most of the afternoon at the park today.  The first picture was taken just after Daddy got home from work.  I was making Lillyana some dinner and Daddy was occupying her on the couch.  She didn't actually eat that dinner, lol, but I will continue to make it for her until she does!  The second picture is this morning just before her first nap.  I can't believe I caught her in a moment of stillness and silence.  Incredibly rare these days!

Playing Catch up

Since I missed the first 10 days I'm going to try to play catch up.  Since I can't ever put the camera down this should be pretty easy to do.  These photos are from the 1st and 2nd of January while I was still at my parents house.

I love this photo of Kaitlynn and Ryan.  It seemed like we had our hands so full with Lillyana I barely got a chance to play with my nieces.  This was one of the few times we got a chance to get down on the floor and play with Kaitlynn.  Ryan was reading her a story.  Man she is growing up so fast.  Can't believe she is almost 3.

Lillyana and Nane.

I believe this was on one of our last days in Florida.  Lilly and Mom were playing on the floor.  I'm pretty sure we are watching Ohio kick Oregon's tail and Lilly was up way too late.  But with only one day left till we were leaving, who's watching the clock?  I got some great video of this too.

January 11th 2010 - Bite Me

Today was not the best day.  Lillyana has her top two teeth coming in so we were both up all night.  Poor baby girl doesn't want to eat, and can't sleep.  I can't wait for these two little buggers to cut.  She was pretty much attached to me the entire day so this photo is the farthest away I got from her all day.  This too shall pass!
